It’s not perfect, and it’s definitely not worth as much as the real thing, but I’m proud of it. Plus, I learned a lot along the way. If you’re thinking about doing something similar, I’d say go for it! Just be prepared to spend some time on it, and don’t expect to fool any watch experts.
I wear my homemade Calatrava all the time now. It might not be the real deal, but it’s a reminder that you can achieve anything you set your mind to. And hey, I saved a ton of money, so that’s a win in my book! Now I think I can buy some cows and have my own little farm, haha!

In the end, it is a very fancy watch. Even my wife, who knows nothing about these fancy things, thinks the dial is very nice. You can get the real one online, I don’t know about those things, but making your own is way more fun.
