Hey everyone, it’s your boy back again with another project! So, I got it in my head to try and remake that fancy Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG. Yeah, the one all those folks online are going crazy for. I saw it once, and I thought, “I bet I can do that!”
First, I started looking everywhere for pictures of this bag. I mean, everywhere! I watched videos and found a bunch of images of folks showing off their YSL bags. Not just the JUNE BOX one, but others too. Got a good look at that shiny YSL logo they put on everything.
Then, I went to find materials. I needed something that looked like the real deal, you know? I rummaged through a lot of different fabrics and leathers, trying to find the perfect match. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you! And I needed that YSL-like logo. I got a guy to help with that and he made a pretty decent one.
The Real Work Begins!
After getting all my stuff together, I started putting the bag together. I tried to follow the shape of the JUNE BOX BAG. It’s like a little box, you see? So I cut and sewed, and cut and sewed some more. It was a lot of trial and error, to be honest. I messed up a few times, had to rip seams and start over. But I kept at it, determined to make it look just right.
- First, I made the main body, like a box without a lid.
- Then, I worked on the flap, the part that closes the bag. That was tricky!
- Next, I added the strap. I wanted it to be sturdy, you know?
- Finally, I put on that logo I got made. That was the finishing touch!
My Version of the YSL JUNE BOX BAG
It took a while, but I finally finished it! It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty darn proud of it. It looks a lot like the real YSL JUNE BOX BAG, if I do say so myself. It’s got that same boxy shape, and the logo looks pretty good, too. I even showed it to a few friends, and they were impressed! They said it looked like one of those “dupes” they talk about – looks like the real thing but doesn’t cost a fortune.
So, there you have it! My adventure in remaking the Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG. It was a fun project, and I learned a lot. Maybe next time, I’ll try making one of their other bags. They’ve got so many shiny things, those YSL folks! I guess that’s why everyone’s always talking about them. They keep making new stuff, keeping up with the times, as they say. And this JUNE BOX BAG is one of their classics, never goes out of style, or so I hear. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my little story!
