Okay, so I’ve been eyeing this Small Prada Galleria Saffiano Special Edition Bag for a while. I mean, it’s one of those classic pieces that never really goes out of style.
First, I started by looking up as much as I could about this bag online.
- Checked out the official Prada website to get the lowdown on the materials and dimensions.
- Scrolled through some fashion blogs and forums to see what other people were saying about it.
- Even watched a few YouTube videos of people unboxing and reviewing the bag.
Then, I began to look for high-quality materials.
I went to a bunch of different fabric and leather stores in my city, trying to find something that looked and felt like the real deal.
After a few days, I found this amazing Saffiano leather that was almost identical to the one Prada uses. I also found some great hardware.
Next, I started working on the pattern.
I studied the pictures of the bag carefully and sketched out a rough design.
Then, I made a test version out of some cheap fabric to make sure everything fit together correctly.
It took a few tries, but I finally got the pattern just right.
Once the pattern was finalized, I cut out all the pieces from the Saffiano leather and the lining fabric.
Then, I started sewing everything together. This part was definitely the most time-consuming, but it was also the most rewarding.
I carefully stitched each piece, making sure that every seam was perfect.
Finally, I added the hardware and the finishing touches. And voila!

I think the color is a little bit off. But other than that, I think it looks pretty darn close to the real thing.
