Okay, so, I saw this thing online the other day, it’s called the “Remake Yves Saint Laurent YSL JUNE BOX BAG Original order.” Now, I ain’t no fashion expert, but I thought, “Why not try and make one myself?”
Getting Started
First off, I had to figure out what this bag even was. Turns out, it’s a fancy-lookin’ purse from some designer named Yves Saint Laurent. This one’s a “remake,” which I guess means they made it again, like a new version of an old thing. I started looking up pictures, trying to get a good look at it from all sides.
Figuring It Out
This bag, it’s got this shiny gold thing on the front. They call it a “Cassandre logo,” which is just a fancy way of saying it’s the letters “YSL” all fancy-like. It’s got this flap that goes over the top, and it looks like it’s made of some kind of smooth leather. I also noticed that the stitching was really neat and tidy, like someone took their sweet time sewing it all together.

- Then, I sketched it out on paper, trying to get the shape right. It’s like a little box, you see.
- After that, I had to figure out the size, holding up a ruler to my computer screen.
Making It Happen
Now, I don’t have fancy leather just lying around, but I did find some old black fabric that felt kinda similar. I cut it out, following my sketches, and started sewing. This part took a while, ’cause I wanted to make it strong, you know? I used a needle and thread, and made sure my stitches were even.
For that shiny YSL logo, I had an old gold button that I thought would work. I polished it up real good, till it shone like new money. Then I sewed it onto the front flap, right in the middle.
The Final Touches
Once it was all sewn up, it actually started to look like that fancy bag! It wasn’t perfect, of course, but it was my own version of it. I even made a strap for it, so I could carry it around. It might not be the real deal, but I was pretty proud of myself for making it.
It might not be as fancy as the real Yves Saint Laurent, but I made it with my own two hands, and that’s something, right?
