Alright, folks, gather ’round, because I’ve been messing around with something new again.
So, I’ve had my eye on this Yves Saint Laurent LE CARRÉ SATCHEL BAG for a while now. It’s just got that classic look that never goes out of style, you know? And I thought, why not give it a shot and try to make one myself? It seemed like a fun project.
First things first, I needed to gather some stuff. I mean, you can’t just whip up a bag out of thin air, right? I got myself some leather and canvas, trying to find stuff that looked and felt pretty good. It took a bit of looking around, but hey, that’s half the fun.
Study Time
Then came the studying part. I looked at a bunch of pictures of the real bag, trying to figure out how it was all put together. I looked at every detail and tried to understand how to make it real.
Cutting and Sewing
After I felt like I had a good grasp on the design, I started cutting and sewing. It wasn’t easy, I’ll tell ya. There were a few times I messed up and had to redo some parts. But I kept at it, and slowly but surely, the bag started to take shape. I cut out the main body pieces, the straps, and all the little bits and pieces. I did a lot of cutting and sewing.
The Logo
Now, the real bag has that fancy CASSANDRE logo, and that was a bit tricky. I couldn’t exactly get the real deal, so I had to find a workaround. It wasn’t perfect, but I think it turned out pretty decent.
Putting It All Together
Once I had all the pieces, it was time to put them all together. I sewed the sides to the main body, attached the straps, and added the lining. I stitched everything together, added the hardware, and before I knew it, I had a finished bag.

And there you have it! My very own Remake Yves Saint Laurent LE CARRÉ SATCHEL BAG. It’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of how it turned out. It was a fun little project, and now I’ve got a cool new bag to show for it.
It was a lot of work, but hey, that’s what makes it special, right? I did it with my own two hands, and that’s something you can’t buy in a store. I am super satisfied with my project.
